Southern California Man Missing After Eaton Fire Displacement

Authorities are seeking help in locating a Southern California man who has been missing since early January, with concerns growing after it’s believed he may have been displaced by the Eaton fire.

Kevin Josue Coello-Hernandez, 30, was last seen on January 7th near the intersection of Lake Avenue and Loma Alta Drive in Altadena, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Coello-Hernandez, who is considered at-risk, lived within a fire-affected area, leading his family to fear that he may have been impacted by the recent wildfires. They are especially worried due to his mental health condition and the lack of contact since his disappearance.

The missing man is described as Hispanic, standing at 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 178 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. On the day he was last seen, he was wearing a black hoodie, blue sweatpants, and white shoes.
