A tragic accident in Sunnyvale on Sunday resulted in the death of a woman who was struck by an RV while attempting to level the vehicle in a driveway, according to officials.
The incident occurred around 4:49 p.m. on the 900 block of West Cardinal Drive, as reported by the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (DPS). Emergency responders arrived to find the woman trapped beneath the RV. After extricating her, they provided medical treatment and rushed her to Stanford Medical Center, where she later passed away.

DPS’s initial investigation indicated that the woman had been assisting the RV driver in positioning the vehicle on leveling blocks when the accident occurred. The driver remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with investigators.
