California drivers are seeing a steady rise in fuel costs, with the state’s average gas price climbing to $4.52 per gallon—an increase of seven cents from last week, according to AAA.
Major cities are experiencing noticeable price hikes, with San Francisco averaging $4.68 per gallon, Oakland at $4.54, and Sacramento close behind at $4.50. Stockton remains slightly more affordable at $4.37. Meanwhile, the national average price has inched up to $3.13 per gallon.

Despite fluctuations in gasoline costs, public EV charging rates remain steady nationwide at 34 cents per kilowatt-hour. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), fuel supply rose last week, but gasoline production slowed. At the same time, crude oil prices declined, with West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude settling at $71.03 per barrel.
