Authorities in Garden Grove are searching for an at-risk elderly man who has been missing for four months, and they are urging the public to assist in locating him.
The missing man, 81-year-old Nguyen Nguyen Van, was last seen on the morning of October 6, 2024, around 9 a.m. He had reportedly left a convalescent home on foot, though it remains unclear which direction he was headed.
According to the Garden Grove Police Department, Van has no prior history of going missing, though he is known to take regular walks. Officials have classified him as at-risk due to his need for medication.

Van is described as an Asian male, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds. He is bald, has no facial hair, and was last seen wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt, brown pants, and white shoes. Police also noted that he relies on a walker for mobility.
