South L.A. Drive-By Shooting: Infant Among 3 Hospitalized in Tragic Attack

Authorities are searching for a suspect after a drive-by shooting in South Los Angeles left three people injured, including a 6-month-old baby, on Saturday evening.

The incident occurred around 4:35 p.m. near Arlington Avenue and 24th Street, where Los Angeles police responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered three victims inside a parked vehicle, all suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims include a 6-month-old boy, a 25-year-old woman, and a 45-year-old woman.

According to investigators, the suspect drove by and opened fire on the vehicle before fleeing the scene. Emergency responders transported all three victims to the hospital, where they were reported to be in stable condition as of Saturday night.

While the motive remains under investigation, authorities suspect the shooting may be gang-related. Photos from the scene depict the victims’ silver sedan riddled with bullet holes, parked in a residential area.
