Severe Weather Alert: SoCal Braces for Intense Rain & Debris Flows

Southern California is bracing for a major atmospheric river storm set to impact the region from Wednesday, February 12, through Friday, February 14, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Los Angeles/Oxnard.

Flooding and Debris Flows a Major Concern

The NWS has issued warnings about potentially life-threatening debris flows in burn scar areas. The storm is expected to deliver intense rainfall, mountain snow, and powerful winds, primarily affecting Ventura, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara counties.

  • Up to 4 inches of rain in coastal foothills
