A teenager was killed, and five others were wounded during a shooting at a mansion party in Woodland Hills early Sunday morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
Gunfire Erupts at Large Gathering
Authorities responded to multiple reports of a shooting around 1:30 a.m. at a property on the 5900 block of Winnetka Avenue. Officers arrived to find a chaotic scene with 200 to 300 partygoers.
“There was an altercation that escalated, leading to multiple shots being fired,” LAPD Lt. Guy Golan told KTLA.
Witnesses reported that the suspect had been involved in an argument and was being removed from the property when he opened fire on the crowd outside.
