Amazon is significantly expanding its workforce in Southern California, announcing plans to hire more than 2,000 full-time and part-time employees across the Inland Empire region.
The company recently launched two new inbound cross-dock facilities in Fontana and Jurupa Valley, which will play a key role in streamlining product distribution within Amazon’s logistics network.
How These Facilities Improve Efficiency
Amazon explained that these cross-dock centers are designed to receive large shipments and distribute them to fulfillment centers, ensuring faster deliveries and improving supply chain efficiency.
“These facilities help us move goods quickly through our logistics network, allowing us to serve customers more efficiently,” Amazon said in a statement.

Economic Boost for the Inland Empire
