Knott’s Berry Farm has announced an early closure on Wednesday due to worsening weather conditions.
The theme park will shut its doors at 5 p.m., while select stores at the California Marketplace will remain open until 6 p.m. The decision comes as Southern California prepares for another significant winter storm, the third to impact the region in recent weeks.
Clouds began moving in early Wednesday, with light showers expected to develop in Los Angeles County by the evening. However, meteorologists warn that the storm’s most intense phase will arrive on Thursday.

“The heaviest rainfall is expected Thursday morning in Orange County, with a potential for thunderstorms later in the day,” the National Weather Service stated.
Forecasters predict that the storm system will bring heavy precipitation, starting along the Central Coast in the morning before moving into Ventura and Los Angeles counties by mid-afternoon.
With severe weather on the horizon, theme park visitors are advised to check for updates before making travel plans.
