Authorities in Santa Monica are investigating a fatal stabbing that left one man dead and another wounded early Saturday morning at a well-known bar.
Incident Details
The Santa Monica Police Department (SMPD) responded to reports of a violent altercation at The Bungalow, a popular nightlife spot on Wilshire Boulevard, around 1:50 a.m.
When officers arrived, they discovered two men suffering from stab wounds. Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Victim & Investigation Update
Later in the evening, authorities confirmed that a 31-year-old man from Anaheim had succumbed to his injuries. The second victim, whose identity has not been released, remains hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

As of now, no suspects have been arrested, and police are still working to piece together what led to the stabbing.

Detectives are actively reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses to gain insight into the events that unfolded.

The Bungalow, located at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel, is a well-known Santa Monica bar often frequented by locals and visitors.
