Authorities are looking into a deadly stabbing that occurred at a well-known Santa Monica bar, leaving one man dead and another hospitalized.
Incident Details
According to the Santa Monica Police Department, officers responded to a stabbing report at The Bungalow, a bar located at 101 Wilshire Boulevard, around 1:50 a.m. on Saturday.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered two men suffering from stab wounds. Emergency responders transported both victims to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Victim Identified, Suspect Unaccounted For
Later that evening, police confirmed that a 31-year-old man from Anaheim had succumbed to his injuries. The second victim, another male, is recovering and is reported to have sustained non-life-threatening wounds.

So far, no arrests have been made, and investigators are working to piece together what led to the violent altercation.
Investigation Ongoing
Detectives are currently analyzing surveillance footage and gathering witness testimonies to better understand the events leading up to the incident.
“This remains an active investigation, and we are following all possible leads,” officials said in a statement.
Authorities believe this was an isolated event and have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat.
The names of those involved have not yet been released.
