Chase Bank has announced that all of its 4,700 branches will be closed tomorrow in observance of Presidents’ Day, a federal holiday. This closure affects both in-person services, including teller transactions and account assistance.
In addition to Chase, other major banks, including Wells Fargo, Citi, and Bank of America, will also be closed for the day. This means customers will need to rely on digital banking services or ATMs to handle their financial needs on Presidents’ Day.
Although branches will be shut down, Chase customers can still access their accounts through online and mobile banking platforms for tasks like bill payments, balance checks, and fund transfers. These digital services will continue to function as usual, allowing customers to manage their accounts remotely.

For those who need cash, ATMs will remain available for withdrawals, deposits, and balance checks. However, if you expect to need a significant amount of cash before Tuesday, it’s recommended to withdraw funds in advance.
While Chase’s online banking is a convenient alternative during the holiday, keep in mind that some transactions, such as check deposits or transfers, may not be processed until the next business day.
The Presidents’ Day closure is not limited to Chase. Several other financial institutions, including Citi, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America, will also observe the holiday. In addition to banks, federal and state government services, schools, universities, and the USPS will also be closed for the day.
If you have banking needs on Monday, be sure to plan ahead and take advantage of digital options while your local branch remains closed.
