Culver City, CA – A tragic incident unfolded early Thursday morning, February 13, 2025, when a passerby contacted the Culver City Police Department at 7:23 a.m. to report an unresponsive woman lying on the ground at Culver City Park.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of a woman, believed to be between the ages of 40 and 50. The scene was quickly secured, and investigators began canvassing for witnesses who may have seen the events leading to her death. The park was temporarily closed to allow for a detailed investigation by the Culver City Police Department’s detectives.

Preliminary findings suggest that the woman’s death was due to self-inflicted injuries. The woman’s name is being withheld at this time while authorities notify her next of kin. Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
