Missing 14-Year-Old Mother and Infant Son Found Safe in Orange County

Authorities in Orange County have located a missing teenage mother and her infant son after they were last seen over the weekend.

The Santa Ana Police Department reported that 14-year-old Marilyn Perez and her 6-month-old son, Misael Perez, were last spotted at their home on South Daisy Street on Saturday morning. Concerns grew as they had not been seen or heard from since.

On Sunday afternoon, police confirmed that both Marilyn and Misael were safely found in the city of Stanton. However, officials have not yet disclosed details about how they disappeared, whether they left on foot, or if they were with anyone before going missing.

A missing persons alert was initially shared on social media, describing Marilyn as a 14-year-old Hispanic female, standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing around 100 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. While specific details about Misael’s appearance were not included in the alert, a photo indicated that he also has brown hair and brown eyes.
