City crews in Los Angeles began clearing a homeless encampment in a flood channel near Highland Park on Monday, aiming to restore the area and improve safety.
Tents and temporary shelters set up along the Arroyo Seco Flood Channel, located next to the 110 Freeway, were dismantled and removed as part of the effort.
Authorities worked to relocate individuals from the encampment, connecting them with city resources for assistance.

By Monday afternoon, most of the makeshift structures had been taken down, and aerial footage from Sky5 captured park rangers and a large team of city workers actively assisting in the operation.
The cleanup is expected to continue as crews focus on clearing debris and ensuring the flood channel remains functional and accessible.
Officials have indicated that further updates on the progress of the cleanup will be provided in the coming days.
