My first impression of the restaurant is that it was very cute. It is on a corner lot and kind of an awkward shape but they definitely made it work. They offered multiple seating types which was nice. Almost immediately when you walk in there is an employee there to greet you and take you to your seat. In the middle of the restaurant they have the station where they refill the drinks and prepare the food to be brought out. I was sitting right next to this station so there was a lot of traffic going back and forth and was pretty loud. This made it kind of difficult to hold a conversation with people constantly coming and going. The staff was bubbly and overall seemed happy to be there.
My meal consisted of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. The pancakes tasted like they were those “just add water” pancakes that do not really have any flavor. I mean they were standard I suppose, not the most amazing I have ever tasted but definitely not the worst. The syrup however was some of the best stuff I ever tasted. They only offer maple syrup but honestly that one syrup is all they need. The eggs were good, I personally season my eggs when I make them at home so my expectations of what the eggs were supposed to taste like may be different. Even though they were different from the eggs I usually eat they were still pretty tasty. The texture was nice and fluffy, and they weren’t overly moist like some other eggs I’ve had. The sausage was amazing, it was very well seasoned and had enough spice that you could acknowledge that it was there but not enough to where you needed to drink something after.
You definitely get a reasonable amount of food for the cost. Most of the meals were between 10 to 15 dollars, and then you also had the option to add on a side of pancakes or hashbrowns for an additional cost. Overall my experience was good, I give it 3.5 out of 5 starts.
