Time is running out for eligible consumers to claim their portion of a $31.9 million class action settlement involving certain tractor hydraulic fluid products. The lawsuit, which includes over 100,000 potential claimants, involves manufacturers Smitty’s Supply and CAM2 International.
LAWSUIT DETAILS
The case centers around allegations that the companies produced and sold 303 Tractor Hydraulic Fluid (THF) products with improper ingredients, which reportedly led to increased wear and damage to farm equipment. Consumers argued that these products did not provide the advertised benefits, leading to claims of negligence, warranty violations, and breaches of state consumer laws.
Although Smitty’s Supply and CAM2 International denied any wrongdoing, they agreed to a settlement to resolve the claims.
