Texas (Thechieftainspear) – A tragic shooting in Forest Hill, Texas, claimed the life of 36-year-old Marie Marisela Trujillo-Camarillo on the evening of February 22, 2025. She was spending time by a fire pit in her backyard on Frisco Avenue with her brother when a stray bullet struck them both, according to police.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 7:15 p.m., but despite their efforts, Trujillo-Camarillo succumbed to her injuries. Investigators later determined that the bullet came from about a block away, though the shooter has not been identified, and no arrests have been made.

Her family is devastated by the sudden loss, particularly her husband, Carlos Camarillo, and their two teenage children. Loved ones describe Trujillo-Camarillo as a caring and hardworking mother who always put others first.
Forest Hill Police Chief David Hernandez extended his condolences and assured the community that authorities are working diligently to find those responsible.
