California(Thechieftainspear) – The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has unveiled the design for the 2024-25 Upland Game Bird Stamp, featuring a striking illustration of white-winged doves resting on a cactus. The artwork, created by Kathy Holeman of The Dalles, Oregon, was chosen for its vivid detail, anatomical precision, and artistic appeal. Experts, including ornithologists and conservationists, praised the piece for its rich colors and the picturesque blend of blue sky and pink blossoms in the background.
