LOS ANGELES (Thechieftainspear) – A violent altercation at the Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles on Sunday resulted in four deputies being hospitalized, including one who sustained a puncture wound, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The incident took place during what officials described as a routine inmate transfer. During the process, one deputy was assaulted by multiple inmates, prompting other deputies to intervene. Authorities stated that the deputies were able to regain control of the situation and halt the attack.

Although the exact number of inmates involved remains unclear, all individuals responsible have been identified and detained.
Following the incident, four deputies were transported to a hospital for medical evaluation and treatment. Officials confirmed that one deputy suffered a puncture-type injury but is expected to make a full recovery.
During their investigation, authorities recovered a homemade weapon believed to have been used in the attack.
The inmates involved were also medically assessed and will continue to be held at Men’s Central Jail as the investigation progresses.
