30-Year-Old Man Electrocuted at Southern California Hospital Site

RESEDA, CA(Thechieftainspear) – A 30-year-old man was critically injured after being electrocuted while trespassing on hospital property in Reseda on Sunday evening, according to authorities.

Emergency crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the incident at Northridge Hospital on Cantara Street shortly after 5 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the man severely burned, with injuries covering more than half of his body.

Officials have not disclosed why the man was near the hospital’s electrical infrastructure, but they confirmed that he came into contact with a high-voltage vault located atop a generator on the facility’s premises, resulting in the electrocution.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, though it is unclear whether he was taken to Northridge Hospital, where the incident occurred.

Following the event, crews from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power were spotted working in the affected area. Authorities have not confirmed whether hospital operations were disrupted or if any electrical systems sustained damage.

Officials have not released the man’s identity, nor have they indicated if he may face legal consequences should he survive. The investigation remains ongoing .
