Mexico (Thechieftainspear) – Authorities in Mexico have discovered the mutilated remains of nine missing students along a highway in southern Mexico, in what appears to be a brutal act of violence.
The victims, who had traveled from Tlaxcala for a vacation in Oaxaca, were reported missing on February 27. Their dismembered bodies were found in San Jose Miahuatlán, near the border between Puebla and Oaxaca. Officials say four of the bodies were stuffed inside the trunk of an abandoned vehicle, while the remaining five were left under a bloodstained tarp nearby.
Adding to the horror, investigators found a bag containing multiple severed hands at the scene, with additional hands discovered in the car’s trunk. Authorities confirmed that all nine victims—four women and five men, aged 19 to 30—had suffered gunshot wounds and showed signs of torture.
The victims have been mostly identified as Angie Lizeth, Leslie, Brenda Mariel, Jacqueline Ailet, Noemi Yamileth, Raul Emmanuel, Ruben Antonio, and Rolando Armando. The ninth victim remains unidentified.
Surveillance footage from February 24 captured the group’s vehicle, a dark gray Volkswagen Vento registered in Tlaxcala, traveling along the Atlixcayotl highway near Atlixco, roughly 90 miles from where the bodies were later found.
