Los Angeles(Thechieftainspear) – A suspected robber was shot and killed by a security guard early Monday morning after ramming a vehicle into a marijuana dispensary in Los Angeles’ Sawtelle neighborhood, authorities said.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 3 a.m. at a dispensary on Pico Boulevard. Officials say the suspect, wearing a ski mask, deliberately drove his car into the storefront, prompting the on-duty security guard to respond with gunfire.

Detective Samuel Marullo stated that the guard, believing the business was under attack, fired a single shot at the suspect. Despite being wounded, the suspect managed to flee on foot but collapsed a short distance away near Centinela Avenue. Emergency responders transported him to a hospital, where he later died.
Authorities have identified the deceased only as a 25-year-old man.
The security guard has not been taken into custody as investigators continue to review the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
