Southern California(Thechieftainspear) – Authorities have arrested an Anaheim man accused of committing identity theft and credit card fraud across Southern California.
The suspect, identified as Daniel Cordova, was taken into custody by Tustin police after allegedly using stolen credit cards to make fraudulent purchases.
According to investigators, Cordova and an unidentified woman were caught on surveillance footage shopping at a Costco in Tustin on two separate occasions—Sept. 27, 2024, and Jan. 2, 2025—where they reportedly used stolen cards to buy various items.

On March 10, a witness recognized Cordova at the same Costco location and immediately alerted authorities. Officers responded and detained him as he was leaving the store. Upon searching him, police discovered 14 additional stolen credit cards.
Cordova was arrested on charges of identity theft.
“These 14 recovered cards represent 14 potential victims spared from financial headaches,” the Tustin Police Department said in a statement.
Authorities have not yet provided details on the unidentified woman or whether she has been located. The investigation is ongoing .
