Key elements of the plan include an evaluation of progress made since the 2018 Bike Plan, an analysis of current biking needs, and recommendations for priority improvements to establish a more seamless, low-stress cycling network. Additionally, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) intends to integrate the updated network into its broader Active Transportation Network .
