California (Thechieftainspear) – Law enforcement officials are actively searching for a 27-year-old inmate who escaped from a Los Angeles-based reentry facility on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), Delina Phillips fled the Female Community Reentry Program facility at approximately 2:40 p.m. Staff immediately conducted a search of the premises but were unable to locate her.
Phillips is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 369 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. At the time of her escape, she was last seen wearing a black and white patterned top with pink and yellow triangles, black leggings, and purple Crocs.

She was originally admitted to the facility on November 9, 2023, after being convicted in Imperial County. Phillips is serving an eight-year sentence for attempted second-degree murder, with an additional enhancement for causing great bodily injury.
Authorities, including CDCR agents and local law enforcement, are working to track down Phillips, but her potential destination remains unknown.
The Female Community Reentry Program is designed to assist eligible inmates nearing the end of their sentences in transitioning back into society. Participation is voluntary for those with two years or less remaining on their sentence.
CDCR officials noted that nearly all individuals who have escaped from state facilities in the past have eventually been apprehended.
Anyone with information about Phillips’ whereabouts is urged to contact Special Agent Daniel Tristan at 909-376-8204, notify local law enforcement, or call 911 .
