San Bernardino(Thechieftainspear) – Authorities have arrested two suspects in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in San Bernardino.
The San Bernardino Police Department identified the suspects as 21-year-old Carlos Porfirio Garcia and 36-year-old Willie Devon Johnson, both residents of San Bernardino.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1100 block of West Baseline Street on the morning of March 8. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries despite medical efforts.
Homicide investigators launched an inquiry and later identified Garcia and Johnson as the primary suspects.
Garcia was arrested on March 12 at a location on West Baseline Street, while Johnson was taken into custody the following day on West Virginia Street.

Authorities have not yet disclosed a potential motive or whether the suspects had any prior connection to the victim.
Detectives are seeking additional information from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident.
