Los Angeles County(Thechieftainspear) – The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has decided not to pursue charges against Hollywood producer David Guillod, despite multiple accusations of sexual assault spanning two decades.
Guillod, known for producing films like Extraction and Atomic Blonde, was initially arrested in October 2020 and faced several charges, including rape, kidnapping to commit rape, and sexual assault of drugged and unconscious victims. The allegations involved six women from both Los Angeles and Santa Barbara counties.
Over time, courts in Santa Barbara dismissed charges related to four accusers due to a lack of sufficient evidence. The remaining cases, which involved allegations from 2012 and 2018, were later transferred to Los Angeles County for review.

A judge in Santa Maria previously ruled in 2022 that there was not enough evidence to proceed with charges involving four of the women. However, the court allowed cases involving Ted actress Jessica Barth and a Los Angeles waitress to move forward.
On March 21, 2025, District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced that after reviewing the evidence, prosecutors concluded they could not meet the legal standard required for a conviction.
“We recognize the gravity of these allegations and acknowledge the trauma endured by those who came forward,” Hochman stated. “However, our office must adhere to the burden of proving criminal charges beyond a reasonable doubt.”
While no charges will be filed, Hochman emphasized the importance of survivors seeking support and encouraged victims of sexual violence to report their experiences .
