Riverside County(Thechieftainspear) – Two Long Beach residents have been arrested in connection with the theft of tools valued at approximately $50,000 from a business in Riverside County, authorities said.
The suspects, identified as 36-year-old Marselina Ortiz and 43-year-old Jason Warner, allegedly broke into a business located on Jefferson Avenue in Temecula on March 11, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say the pair stole tools and other property before loading them into a vehicle that did not belong to them. After taking the stolen items, they drove away from the scene.
Additionally, a credit card belonging to the victim was reported stolen and later used to book a motel room in Santa Ana.

On March 15, deputies tracked the suspects to the motel, where they found the stolen vehicle parked outside. When Ortiz and Warner exited their room, they were taken into custody.
Authorities executed a search warrant on the car and motel room, recovering most of the stolen property.
Ortiz faces multiple charges, including commercial burglary, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, identity theft, fraudulent use of credit card information, and possession of a controlled substance. Warner was arrested on charges of commercial burglary.
