Orange County(Thechieftainspear) –Authorities in Irvine are searching for a woman accused of using an unusual tactic to steal jewelry—distracting her victims with a kiss.
The suspect, identified as 45-year-old Sirbu Lacramioara, is wanted for a series of thefts in which she allegedly targets individuals wearing high-end accessories, such as watches or jewelry, the Irvine Police Department said.
In a recent incident, police say Lacramioara approached a victim, removed their Rolex watch, and kissed the person’s hand before fleeing the scene. Investigators were able to identify her thanks to DNA evidence recovered from the area she kissed.
