Ventura County Authorities Arrest Man for Alleged Teen Harassment

Ventura County(Thechieftainspear) – A Meiners Oaks man has been taken into custody for allegedly harassing a teenage girl on multiple occasions while she walked home from school, authorities announced.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as 46-year-old Gerardo Juarez Reyes.

The case began in November 2024, when a 13-year-old girl told her mother that a man had been bothering her during her walk home in the unincorporated community of Meiners Oaks, located near Ojai. The mother immediately alerted law enforcement, but an initial investigation failed to locate the individual.

Months later, in March 2025, the same girl reported a recurrence of the harassment by what she believed to be the same man. This prompted a renewed investigation by deputies assigned to the Ojai area, along with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Crime Analysis Unit.
