Los Angeles(Thechieftainspear) – Nine people were injured Saturday afternoon when a minivan slammed into a structure near the heart of downtown Los Angeles’ fashion district, according to emergency responders.
The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. in the 300 block of East 12th Street, just steps from the popular Santee Alley shopping area. A video shared via the Citizen App showed the minivan on the sidewalk, lodged against part of a building.

Los Angeles Fire Department crews quickly arrived and taped off the crash scene, where medical teams treated at least one person before transport. In total, six adults and three children were injured and transported to local hospitals, all in fair condition, LAFD confirmed.
Authorities from the Los Angeles Police Department issued a traffic advisory on social media, warning of road closures and delays between Maple and Santee streets while the Central Traffic Division conducted their investigation.
As of Saturday evening, LAPD said there were no signs that the crash was intentional and no evidence of drug or alcohol involvement.
