Santa Monica Beach Attack: Brother and Sister Stabbed by Unknown Assailants

(Thechieftainspear) – A late-night outing to the beach in Santa Monica turned violent for a group of young adults when two siblings were stabbed during an altercation early Saturday morning.

On Sunday, one of the victims—a 28-year-old woman who asked to remain anonymous—shared her account of the frightening incident with KTLA, hoping the public can help identify those responsible.

According to the woman, she was with her 24-year-old brother, his girlfriend, and two of her friends during a casual visit to the beach around 1 a.m. The group had planned a quiet night, simply wanting to walk near the water and relax.

Before reaching the sand, the group noticed two men riding scooters and appearing to drink near the boardwalk. The woman recalled feeling uneasy, but the group decided to continue their walk despite the odd behavior.

As the night went on, the same two men were seen again—this time, heading toward the group. The situation quickly became uncomfortable, she said, as the men began verbally confronting them.

What began as harassment soon escalated into violence. The woman said her brother stepped in to shield the group when the suspects allegedly pulled out pocket knives and began issuing threats. In the chaos that followed, both siblings were stabbed.

Despite the traumatic incident, the group managed to record part of the encounter on their phones. The victim has since provided the footage to KTLA in hopes of helping law enforcement track down the attackers.

Both siblings were hospitalized due to their injuries. Authorities have not yet announced any arrests or confirmed the identity of the suspects .
