Two Arrested in Southern California Human Trafficking and Torture Case

(Thechieftainspear) – Authorities in Riverside County announced the arrest of two men earlier this week, both facing serious charges of felony torture and human trafficking following an investigation into reports of sexual abuse.

According to a news release from the Hemet Police Department, officers responded to the Hemet Global Medical Center on March 12 after receiving a report of sexual abuse. Following an initial interview with the victim, the case was referred to the department’s Investigations Division.

“Investigators quickly determined that the victim had endured severe abuse, including torture, sexual assault, and forced prostitution,” the release stated. “During the course of the investigation, a second victim was also identified, who reported similar experiences of trafficking, assault, and rape at the hands of the same suspects.”

For the protection of the victims, their identities are being kept confidential.

Detectives spent the following weeks working diligently on the case, ultimately identifying Davion Marshall and Travis Grisham as the primary suspects. On April 22, 2025, both men were apprehended without incident by Hemet Police Investigators, with the assistance of Southwest City SWAT, in the 300 block of South State Street in Hemet.

The two suspects were transported and booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility on multiple felony charges, including human trafficking and torture. Bail for each suspect was set at $1 million.
