San Bernardino County High School Fight Turns Violent, Officers Assaulted

(Thechieftainspear) – A violent altercation involving students and school police broke out on the afternoon of April 24 at Entrepreneur High School in Highland, California, leading to the arrest of several teens and injuries to two officers.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the school parking lot and was partially captured on cellphone video by a witness at the scene. The footage shows at least three teenage girls physically fighting as two officers from the San Bernardino City Unified School District arrived in an attempt to intervene.

Despite multiple efforts by the officers to separate those involved, the students continued to throw punches, scream, and resist attempts to de-escalate the situation. The chaos escalated further when several adults appeared and reportedly joined the melee.

In the video, one of the teen girls appears to grab the hair of a female officer, while a male officer is seen tackling another student to the ground amid the disorder. The students also appeared to push and shove the officers, disregarding verbal commands.

According to district officials, both responding officers were assaulted during the incident. Backup units soon arrived on the scene, and the involved students were detained and taken into custody. Because they are minors, their names have not been released.

What prompted the brawl remains unknown at this time. Officials with the school district have confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fight and identify all parties involved.

No updates have been released regarding potential charges or disciplinary action against the students.
