(Thechieftainspear) – Authorities have arrested three individuals involved in a violent Woodland Hills home invasion that led to a fatality, the Los Angeles Police Department reported Sunday evening.
The incident occurred early in the morning on Saturday, April 26, and initially, LAPD officers treated it as a suspicious death after a body was discovered in a residence near Woodland Hills Elementary School.
At approximately 1 a.m., officers responded to a call at a home located on the 22200 block of De La Osa Street, where they found 47-year-old Aleksandre Modebadze suffering from what appeared to be a severe head injury. Paramedics arrived soon after and confirmed Modebadze was deceased at the scene.
Though initial investigations suggested the death might be accidental, further probing revealed that the circumstances were far more sinister. Homicide detectives determined that Modebadze had been held captive inside his home by three suspects, who severely assaulted him, ultimately causing his death.

Shortly thereafter, police arrested two additional suspects, 46-year-old Zaza Otarashvili and 52-year-old Besiki Khutsishvili, together in Glendale on Burchett Street.
All three individuals have been charged with murder and are currently being held in custody with a $2 million bail.
Investigators are still working to uncover more details about the motive behind the crime. LAPD is asking anyone with additional information to contact the Operation Valley Bureau at 818-374-9550.
