(Thechieftainspear) – Authorities have arrested three individuals in connection to a bold robbery at a Sunglass Hut store in Chino Hills, where seven suspects allegedly stole $30,000 worth of sunglasses.
The theft occurred around 2 p.m. on April 26 at the Sunglass Hut located at 13850 City Center Drive, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. The suspects, fleeing the scene in two separate vehicles, quickly led law enforcement on a pursuit.
One of the getaway vehicles was located in Fontana, where a brief chase ensued before the vehicle became disabled. Three suspects—two adults and one juvenile—attempted to flee on foot, but law enforcement soon apprehended them.
The arrested adults were identified as 18-year-olds Deprice Battles from Rialto and Devonte Moore from Victorville. The juvenile, also from Victorville, was not named due to their age.
