(Thechieftainspear) – A 48-year-old man is facing felony charges after allegedly crashing his vehicle into the gate of a Bel Air mansion reported to belong to actress Jennifer Aniston.
The Los Angeles Police Department said the incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Monday in a residential area near Sunset Boulevard and Bellagio Road. Officers responded after receiving a call about a possible burglary suspect who had rammed a gate with his vehicle.
The suspect, identified as Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, was reportedly stopped by private security before LAPD officers arrived and placed him under arrest without further conflict.
Several reports have indicated that the property struck is owned by Jennifer Aniston, known for her roles on “Friends” and “The Morning Show,” although her representatives have not confirmed the information.

Witnesses in the area expressed concern over the nature of the crash. “It doesn’t seem like something that just happens at random,” said Aviva Copaken, a local dog walker. “Celebrities are constantly in the public eye and that can make them targets.”
Authorities said Carwyle complained of pain after colliding with the gate and was evaluated at the scene. No injuries were reported, though one individual was home during the incident.
Carwyle has been booked on felony vandalism charges and is being held without bail, according to official court records.
Efforts to reach representatives for Aniston for comment have so far been unsuccessful.
