Baldwin Hills – A single-vehicle crash involving a black Fiat 500 left one person trapped and another injured early Saturday morning in Baldwin Hills.
The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) responded to the incident shortly after 2:30 a.m. in the 3900 block of South Cloverdale Avenue. Upon arrival, paramedics discovered the Fiat had collided with a large commercial dumpster filled with dirt, a light pole, and a fence belonging to a nearby home.

One male occupant was trapped inside the vehicle, prompting firefighters to upgrade the response to a physical rescue. Using heavy rescue equipment, crews lifted the car off the fence and extricated the trapped individual. He was transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
A second male occupant also sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital. His condition remains unclear.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but authorities suspect that speed may have been a contributing factor.
