League City – League City Police Department officers arrested 16 individuals on felony charges during the week of December 26, 2024, to January 1, 2025. The charges ranged from state jail felonies to first-degree felonies, according to a press release from the department.
Among those arrested:
- Christopher Stokes, of Houston, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence, with a total bond of $160,000. He also faces a Texas Department of Criminal Justice parole violation with no bond.
- Melodi Williamson, of League City, Alicia Ortiz, of Texas City, and Hunter Clement, of Houston, were each charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, with bonds set at $5,000 each.
- Fanny Estrada, of Dickinson, was held on a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement warrant with no bond.
Other notable arrests included:
- Kyle Brown, of League City, charged with injury to the elderly, with a bond of $10,000.
- Shuan Small, of Manvel, facing possession of a controlled substance charges with a $30,000 bond.
- Jorge Santiesteban, of League City, arrested on two Galveston County warrants for evading arrest with a vehicle and unauthorized use of a vehicle, with bonds totaling $45,000.

Additional arrests were made for drug-related offenses and other charges:
- Fernando Juarez, Jr., of Houston, and Courtney Schisser, of Houston, were charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, with bonds of $150,000 and $100,000 respectively. Schisser also faced charges of abandoning/endangering a child.
- Azaria Walker, of Stafford, was charged with theft, fraudulent use/possession of identifying information, and possession of a controlled substance, with bonds totaling $60,000.
- Derman Singleton, of Houston, was charged with theft with a $60,000 bond.
- Federico Ramirez, Jr., of Houston, and David Nguyen, of League City, were charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, with bonds set at $20,000 and $60,000 respectively.
- Sophia Moreno, of Pearland, and Christopher Sallis, of League City, faced charges of possession of a controlled substance, with bonds of $10,000 and $40,000 respectively.
The League City Police Department emphasized that all individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
