San Diego Law Firm Takes Action for Los Angeles-Area Fire Victims

Dozens of victims of the devastating Los Angeles-area wildfires are turning to a San Diego law firm for help in recovering from their losses.

Gerald Singleton, a prominent fire-related lawsuit attorney, shared that his firm has already signed on numerous clients seeking compensation. With a proven track record, Singleton’s firm has represented 26,000 wildfire victims over the past two decades, including survivors of the catastrophic fires in Hawaii.

“Our focus is to help people bridge the gap between their insurance coverage and the actual financial damages they’ve suffered,” Singleton explained.

Singleton’s firm relies on a team of experts, including retired law enforcement officers, former firefighters, and experienced cause-and-origin investigators. These specialists work on the ground, gathering crucial information without interfering with ongoing investigations. Their goal is to determine if utilities or other parties are responsible for the fires, potentially opening the door for lawsuits.

While the exact causes of the recent fires in Los Angeles remain under investigation, Singleton offered key advice for residents of Southern California to protect themselves.

He recommended families prepare a “go-bag” containing clothing, essential documents like passports, and fire insurance policies. In addition, ensuring pets are ready to evacuate with a carrier is crucial.

Singleton also urged homeowners to consider increasing their insurance coverage for wildfire damage, if possible, to ensure they are fully protected in the event of future disasters.
