Many people affected by the flood still hae a lot of work to clean up the destruction. The city is helping to assist with some of the clean up efforts. “We’re also helping figure out [the flood victim’s] mitigation and getting rid of their property and hauling it away to the dump so we’re providing dumpsters and items like that,” Mayor Rusty Hike said. In her music video, “bury a friend” Billie Eilish is representing the monster she faces within herself. “When we made ‘bury a friend,’ the whole album clicked in my head,” said. “I immediately knew what it was going to be about, what the visuals were going to be, and everything in terms of how I wanted it to be perceived. It inspired what the album is about. ‘bury a friend’ is literally from the perspective of the monster under my bed.” Image from Billie Eilish’s video courtesy of Moxie.

An aerial view of Offutt Air Force Base and the surrounding areas affected by flood waters Mar. 17. Increased water levels in many rivers and waterways were caused by the most amount of snowfall over this past winter. In addition, a large drop in air pressure caused massive amounts of flooding across the state of Nebraska. Due to this, many families in Nebraska have lost their homes, as well as many precious valuables. Many organizations have donated their time, effort and money to help these people.
