$1M Southern California Lottery Winner Plans to Buy Brother a New Car

California (Thechieftainspear) –  A California woman who recently hit the jackpot on a lottery scratcher in Corona has big plans for her winnings—starting with a brand-new car for her brother.

J. Garcia, the lucky winner, revealed that her brother often buys lottery tickets, and she occasionally gives him $20 to pick one up for her. Late last year, he stopped by Cardenas Market on Lincoln Avenue and purchased a ticket on her behalf.

Instead of scratching it herself, Garcia asked him to check the results over the phone.

“I think you won,” he told her.

Skeptical at first, Garcia dismissed the claim, even after her brother sent her a picture of the winning LOTERIA™ GRANDE ticket. It wasn’t until she visited the California Lottery office that reality set in.

“They confirmed it—I really won!” she recalled.

With a $1 million prize in hand, Garcia plans to make a smart investment in real estate but is prioritizing a special gift first.

“I’m definitely getting my brother a new car,” she said.

LOTERIA™ GRANDE is a $10 scratcher game featuring two game boards and a top prize of $1 million .
