ATLANTA — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for questioning following a stabbing at a MARTA rail station in Atlanta.
According to investigators, the incident occurred on May 24 at the Georgia Tech MARTA Station. Police say a man was stabbed multiple times during the encounter.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a nearby hospital. Officials said the victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The suspect was last seen at the station around 1:26 p.m. on the day of the incident. He was reportedly wearing a plaid shirt, black pants, a black hat, and tan sneakers.
Investigators have described the individual as armed and dangerous and are actively working to determine his identity and whereabouts.
At this time, authorities have not released information regarding a possible motive. It remains unclear whether the suspect and victim knew each other or if the attack occurred without any prior interaction.
Police are encouraging anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information related to the case to contact investigators immediately.
